Possibly the best bargain in cream
Unlike drandall, I actually really like the scent of Fraser's original, so much so that I find it unlikely that I will ever buy a different lime scented cream. Why would I when I can get one that smells great (to me), performs incredibly, and gives me more product for less money? For anyone who does not own this cream, this is a huge tub that simply dwarfs my other containers. Also, despite having this cream for over a year and using it at least once a week in my rotation, I doubt I've used much more than a third of the container, it just lasts and lasts. So do yourself a favour and at least try a tub of this stuff, because even if you don't like the look or the scent, you will like the performance. And for such a low price, how dare you not try it?

Don't Be Deceived By Its Humble Appearance
There is absolutely nothing attractive or particularly appealing about a giant tub of JM frasier's original shaving cream. It doesn't get much better when you open the lid either. the cream is white like a snowdrift and the scent isn't particularly captivating...a kind of synthetic lime that could easily be mistaken for bathroom cleaner or air freshener.
then you take a bit of cream on your fingers and notice that it's slicker than goose grease. incredibly slick. when you first lather it, you may note that it lathers easily, but it's not the stiff, vanilla frosting lather of a top-tier english cream. still, it feels good going on.
then you try your first pass and you notice that your razor is gliding like it's on ice. the shave is easy and stubble is quickly cleared. it just...happens.
it's only when you're rinsing the last of the lather off your face that it will dawn on you just what a great experience it's been. all of a sudden, that giant tub of generic looking cream with the ugly label looks like white gold, hiding in plain sight.
JM frasier's is great shaving cream. not for how it looks or how it smells...but for how it works. it's a no-nonsense powerhouse of slick shaving goodness that's easy on the wallet, if not on the eyes. an underappreciated gem!
