Col. Ichabod Conk's World Famous Shave Soap, Amber

I have used this soap virtually from day 1. I find I get a very quick, thick lather with my badger hair brush. The glycerin makes it nice and slippery for a straight razor shave and the scent, although subtle, is fantastic! There is a reason this product has been around for so long!

I found it an excellent shave, but the scent isn't too interesting to me. Great 'primer' to combine with a more expensive and fragrant cream. You'll only have to use half as much, and the almond scent is so soft it won't interfere with the cream.

The first soap that I tried when I started DE shaving 3 years ago. I still have some left. It just doesn't lather well for me. It is resonably slick. And for those who remember, it smells and feels a lot like pears glycerine soap.
